More to think about. I'm not sure if there is anything wrong in the yahoo article... but it made their from page. It seems there is quite the money trail in Illinois.

If Obama is linked to these people it will come out very soon. From the article ACORN is in a state of denial as the FBI is now involved. Would it be bad if the FBI shows a connection between BO and ACORN. Will it look like the Republicans are head hunting. Voter fraud is a major issue... and just not right. I hope a major network picks this story up.

Acorn is now under investigation in 16 states by the FBI! Thousands of illegal voters... if not more. It also turns out 6 of the recruiters are convicted felons. It's getting uglier by the minute.

We have been having problems with ACORN here in TX too but as far as I can tell it has been investigative reporting by the news more so than law enforcement.

From my understanding ACORN is a private non profit organization whose goal is to get people registered to vote. There are a lot of politicians and citizens who donate to ACORN because they believe in what they stand for. The fact that Obama is connected to ACORN in that he used to work for them and he donates money to them does not mean that he is corrupt or had any hand in their corruption whatsoever. Apparently ACORN has tried to do a good deed by hiring low income people to get out there and get people registered. That is their job and it seems like a relatively easy task, but apparently some of those people were too lazy to do their jobs and took the easy way out and provided fake voters registrations. This has nothing to do with Obama other than the aforementioned. This was LAZY individuals, probably welfare to work people who wanted to slack off and get paid. Fake voters registrations do not translate to votes. I work election polls and I can assure you that it takes more than a voters registration card to vote. Otherwise ANYBODY could drop as many cards as they wanted in the mail and vote as much as they wanted. The system is not THAT easy to beat. Every voters registration card goes to the registrar and it is checked against a database to verify that you are not already registered. Then you get a number assigned to you (much like a DL number) as well as a polling location. Then when you go in to vote we check your voters registration card AND your drivers license and compare it to what is in our poll book. Now if you have already been verified, ie. you have voted in a recent election, you only have to submit your voters card, but first time registers and people who have moved are ALWAYS verified with photo ID. And the address MUST match what is in our book. If all else fails you can fill out an absentee ballot and FYI unless you are stationed away in the military or in the hospital for example your absentee ballot will be thrown out, it is just something we use to pacify an angry voter.

So my point is for everyone to calm down about this ACORN thing. Its serious but has nothing to do with the outcome of this election. Just some lazy scrubs who don't want to work.

But, in the spirit of being a btch, where is the GOP's uproar over all of the elections that they stole. What about Bush and Ohio and Florida?

From my own experience, voting is not all that difficult. In the last state election, there was no one at the voting area that could speak English and I don't speak Spanish or Chinese. Thus, I was not able to vote. Of course, I filed a complaint with the state (I'm from California) and since I had walked there on the way back home I stopped at the local newspaper to tell them my story.
