I'm just mad this week...

As I have to hunt to find gas here in Tennessee to pay record prices at that... I had a thought. How hard would it be to walk to work? I am so frustrated since Ike hit that I saw a news crew at a gas station and I thought about acting like an idiot just to get my 2 cents in. It's a good thing I didn't have my Screw Big Oil signs on me. I though about put screw big oil bumper stickers on all of the pumps around here. They are hurting all of us... and I think I need to come up with a better plan than just websites to fight back.

Here's a news video from yesterday... I ran out of gas trying to find gas. I eventually found it... I had to wait a hour to get gas for my truck. By the time I went to fill up the car also I got the last $15.12 they had.

Ugh! They were talking about this today on the radio. They said that people were dialing 911 to find out where gas was. I can't make sense of all that is going on now. I'm just waiting for the seas to turn into blood.

As of today, a barrel of oil has dropped 40% in price - $87+ a barrel.
While gas prices have only come down 15%

Do you want their BS reasons? Like gas is pre-paid to the distributors, and until the supplies are used up they can't purchase it at a lower price. Tennessee proves this not to be true, as we have had no supplies. We are just getting gas in here... right from the pipeline to the local distributors. So the widely believed theory of pre-purchased fuel is a hoax. The oil companies, especially those who import, are reaping the sick rewards of this. By low... sell high... more record profits. Gas should be under $3.00 p/g at the barrel price.... Greed... simply greed.

Our gas is finally under 3 bucks. I was so shocked when I filled up my tank and it was only $65 It had been running about $90.
Nazman, how is the gas shortage out your way?

Gas is way improved here... most stations at least have regular unleaded. We are running about $2.80 here which is nice, but my brother called and said it was on $2.30 in Ohio. I wish it was here.
