Great site, I like the idea of making things at home. It is a great way to save money. There is a recipe website that I frequent that has restaurant recipes, there are a lot of those out there in which you can recreate your favorite menu items at home. I like to make Olive Garden and Boston Market recipes. That is a great way to save money. Another tip is to make meals fun. I found that the reason kids love McDonalds is because of the play area and toys. You can create a cheap lunch at home and then take your family on a picnic to a park to eat, that is a fun way to spend time with your children and save money. Another thing that I like to do is find out the days that restaurants have their kids eat free nights. You can get the same meals at a reduced price if you buy dinner and the kids get their meals for free.
