Congress is talking about raising the gas tax!

Congress is debating raising the gas tax 10 cents p/g for roads and bridges. I agree that our infrastructure needs work, but by the time they fill the bill with earmark and pork there will be very little left for the roads. Bad plan and we need to stand up against it!

Bad idea. Why put a further strain on people who are barely making it as it is. If we're not already in a recession we will be.
Speaking of pork, I don't doubt that this is nothing more than logrolling, believe me this isn't about fixing roads

I think it is more about forcing people to conserve. They make enough money so they don't give a flip about those of us that have to count every penny.

Americas drove 5 billion miles less last month. The market has made us conserve, congress doesn't need to. They just want to tax us to death. Why can't we just tax congress?
